Անձրևում է, նստե՛ք մեքենա / "It's raining, get in the car!"

Զարմուհուս հետ քայլում էինք տուն, գիշերվա ժամը 2-ն էր մոտավոր , և ուժեղ անձրև էր տեղում: Երբ մենք մտանք փոքր, վատ լուսավորված փակուղի, 2 հոգի սկսեցին ինչ-որ բաներ բղավել մեքենայից, հետո դանդաղորեն սկսեցին մեզ հետևել: Բացի այն ամենից, որ ասում էին, իմ թույլ հայերենի պատճառով մենակ հասկացա , որ անըդհատ կրկնում էին.՝ “Անձրևում է, նստեք մեքենա”: Մենք պատասխանում էինք՝ . “Ո՛չ, գնացե՛ք” և պարզ ձեռքով ժեստեր էինք անում, որ գրողը տանի հեռանան, որը նրանք ի վերջո արեցին: Բարեբախտաբար նրանք մեքենայից դուրս չեկան կամ այլ բան չարեցին, որը դժոխքի պես սարսափելի կլիներ հաշվի առնելով շատ մութ և ամբողջովին կուրացնող ծառուղին, որով քայլում էինք:

We were walking home with my cousin, it was approximately 2am, and raining heavily. As we entered a small, poorly lit blind alley, two creeps started shouting things at us from their car, and then they slowly started following us. Among other things that I didn't get because of my poor Armenian, they were basically repeating "It's raining, get in the car! Get in the car NOW!" As if! We repeated "votch, genatseq!" and made clear hand gestures indicating them to go the fuck away, which they eventually did. Luckily they didn't go out of the car or anything, that would have been scary as hell considering the very dark and empty blind alley we were walking in.
